Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohamad Javad Zarif leading a delegation left Tehran for Moscow Friday morning.
He is scheduled to attend a trilateral meeting on adopting an anti-terror strategy along with his Russian and Syrian counterparts in the Russian capital, Moscow.
During his one-day visit, Zarif will hold talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Syrian counterpart Walid al-Moallem on issues of mutual relations, as well as the latest regional developments mainly in Syria and Iraq.
Iran’s top diplomat during his visit will first attend a lunch ceremony hosted by the Russian foreign ministry and the two officials will then join their Syrian counterpart at the trilateral meeting.
