Israeli occupation forces launched at dawn on Monday wide arrest campaign in West Bank and Al-Quds, in which it arrested 19 Palestinians, including brother of martyr Bassel Al-Araj.
In addition to Saeed al-Araj, IOF also arrested 18 others who included a 12-year-old child, 2 freed prisoners and a journalist, Palestine Today quoted local sources as saying.
The arrest campaign came just few hours after seven Israeli were critically injured in a shooting attack near the so-called Ofra settlement, east of Ramallah in West Bank.
IOF usually takes from attacks against Israelis pretext to raid Palestinian houses and arrest youths.
Bassel Al-Araj was martyred in March 2016 following a two-hour battle with occupation forces. After his martyrdom he turned to an icon known as the “Battling Intellectual”, because of his pro-resistance stances.
