Israeli occupation forces killed a Palestinian female nurse in the tenth “March of Return” on Friday in Gaza.
Razan Najjar, 21, was martyred and at least hundred others were injured in the weekly demonstrations which were launched on March 30 in the Gaza Strip to demonstrate the Palestinians’ right to return to their land occupied by the Israeli entity since 1948.
Najjar is a volunteer medic who was shot by IOF as she ran to reach a casualty along the border between Gaza and the occupied territories.
Wearing a white uniform, “she raised her hands high in a clear way, but Israeli soldiers fired and she was hit in the chest,” Reuters news agency quoted a witness at the scene as saying.
Najjar’s death brought to 119 the number of Palestinians martyred by Israeli fire in the weekly protests.
