Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, said Thursday her country insists on the investigation into the air strike by the coalition led by the United States on the Syrian army positions.

“We have heard from Washington that this was a mistake … I think we’ll know, because there must be an investigation, we insist on the investigation into what happened,” Zakharova stressed.
