Syria-based terrorists have breached the truce which came into effect across the country on Monday sundown. On Tuesday, the insurgents violated the truce in Damascus countryside, Aleppo, Homs, Hama and latakia.
In Damascus countryside, the armed groups fired several mortar rounds, rockets and artillery shells in eastern Ghouta, Harasta Suburb, Marj al-Sultan town and the thermal power plant in Jairoud, SANA news agency quoted military source as saying.
In Aleppo, the terrorists fired a rocket shell at al-Huwaiz, targeting al-Midan neighborhood with sniper fire, and firing explosive shells at the surroundings of al-Castello in Aleppo countryside.
The armed groups fired mortar rounds and machinegun rounds at the Sadcop gas plant in Aleppo, firing several mortar rounds at the Old City in Aleppo, and firing DShK rounds at Family House in Aleppo, according to SANA.
Earlier on Tuesday, the terrorists fired several mortar shells at the military academies area in al-Ramousa, Tallet al-Safra in the vicinity of the military academies, surroundings of al-Castello and military posts in Jamiyet al-Zahraa area.
Elsewhere in Hama, armed groups opened fire with machineguns and sniper rifles on areas in Ma’an town and fired mortar rounds at military positions south of Ma’ardas town.
Meanwhile, the terrorists targeted with snipers and machine guns military posts in the northwestern countryside of Homs province and other military posts in Um Jabourin village in the northern countryside of Homs.
In Latakia, the armed groups breached the truce two times by firing mortar rounds and machineguns at military positions at Ruwaiset Rosho and Shir al-Da’ea in Lattakia’s northern countryside, and a third time by firing three mortar rounds at military positions in al-Qamoua’a and Abu Ali mountains in the province’s northern countryside, SANA reported.
