Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem is to deliver a speech on Saturday on the occasion of Lady Fatima Al-Zahraa’s birth anniversary.
His eminence is to tackle latest developments in a televised address via video link, during a ceremony organized by Hezbollah’s Women’s Organizations Unit.
Entitled “We Shall Keep the Covenant”, the ceremony is to kick off at 13:30 (Beirut time) in Sayyed Al-Shuhada Complex in Beirut’s southern suburb, Dahiyeh.
In his latest speech last Friday (December 5), Sheikh Qassem said that Hezbollah along with the people of resistance will not surrender, affirming that the resolve of the resistance “will only grow stronger” despite all kinds of threats and pressure by the Israeli enemy and its backers and allies.
The address of Hezbollah S.G. comes as the Israeli enemy continues to bomb Lebanon, mainly the country’s south, almost daily and maintains occupation over five posts along the southern border, in violation of a ceasefire deal reached following a brutal 66-day Israeli war between September and November 2024.
