The Palestinian Information Center “Ma‘ta” has documented 73 acts of resistance—both armed and popular—in the West Bank and Jerusalem over the past week, underscoring the continued grassroots pushback against intensified Israeli military aggression.
According to Ma‘ta, the period between 5 and 11 December saw a shooting attack and a vehicle-ramming operation targeting Israeli forces conducting deep raids into cities, towns, and villages across the West Bank.
Settlement activity in West Bank is no longer random but an organized operation with coordinated roles between army, police, and settlers.

The center reported widespread clashes in multiple areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem, alongside three popular demonstrations protesting Israeli and settler assaults. The center recorded these confrontations and protests at 58 distinct locations.
Resistance fighters also detonated three improvised explosive devices against Israeli military vehicles and troops. In addition, local youth and residents engaged in seven direct confrontations with settlers to repel their attacks and attempts to storm Palestinian homes and residential areas.
The report notes that Israeli forces have sharply escalated their assaults on Palestinians in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, since the onset of the war of annihilation in Gaza. Palestinian sources say this escalation has resulted in the killing of roughly 1,092 Palestinians and the injury of more than 10,000 others, alongside the arrest of over 20,000 people—among them 1,600 children.
