The Israeli occupation army carried out building demolitions in the early hours of Saturday, alongside intense artillery shelling targeting areas east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Simultaneously, Israeli warplanes conducted a series of airstrikes on eastern Khan Younis, the city of Rafah in the south, and the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City. Artillery fire also targeted the eastern part of central Gaza.
In a separate incident, a young man, Muhammad Sabri Al-Adham, was shot and martyred by the Israeli occupation army in Jabalia Al-Nazla, in the northern Gaza Strip.
Gaza Bears the Brunt of Storm, Siege, and Continued Attacks
Amid the military assault, a severe storm has compounded the humanitarian crisis. Media reports that rainwater has mixed with sewage, creating a major health catastrophe and raising grave concerns over the rapid spread of waterborne diseases.

The storm has claimed the lives of 16 Palestinians, including 3 children, following the collapse of homes previously damaged by Israeli attacks. This further exacerbates the suffering of the besieged population.
Media reports added that the Israeli occupation continues to tighten pressure on Gaza, neglecting its obligations under humanitarian protocols and leaving Palestinians without essential support or aid.
Extensive flooding has inundated entire camps in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis. Significant damage was also reported in Al-Bassa and Al-Baraka in Deir al-Balah, the central market in Nuseirat, and the Yarmouk and port areas of Gaza City.
