Member of Hezbollah’s Loyalty to Resistance parliamentary bloc MP Ihab Hamade stressed on Friday that Lebanon won’t be part of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s map.
“The Zionist-US scheme, which wants the region to be part of Netanyahu’s map, will not be achieved, especially Lebanon and other countries referred to previously as ring of states.”
The Hezbollah lawmaker warned “some in Lebanon against playing with fire and pursuing the path of conspiracy,” as he affirmed that “with our wisdom and awareness we will thwart any attempt to sow division and discord.”
Hamade’s remarks came during a memorial service for Martyr All the Way to Al-Quds Issam Mohammad Obeid at Al-Mujtaba Complex in Beirut’s southern suburb, Dahiyeh.
“Some people’s bets on illusions similar to previous bets will also fail,” he stressed.
Hamade addressed enemies as saying: “You won’t be able to achieve any of your goals to place our country in the Zionist-US project. We will keep our Lebanon within its context of resistance and confrontation.”
Meanwhile, Hamade praised Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri as Lebanon’s compass and guarantee of balance.
