Iran and the European troika (UK, France and Germany) are to meet for nuclear talks on Tuesday, Iranian media reported, the first such round of talks following the Israeli-US aggression on the Islamic Republic in June.
Both Tasnim and Mehr news agencies quoted informed sources as saying that a round of talks will be held in the Swiss capital, Geneva.
The meeting will focus on nuclear issues and the removal of anti-Iran sanctions, according to the sources.

The European troika, also known as E3, will be represented at political director level, the sources added, noting that the EU deputy foreign policy chief will also attend.
On Friday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi spoke by phone with his counterparts from the UK, France, Germany, and the EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.
Also on Friday, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani, affirmed that meaningful talks can only progress if the United States and Europe recognize that pressure and threats of war will not intimidate the Iranian nation.
