5 Israeli soldiers have been injured in Gaza on Thursday, as the Palestinian resistance keeps up the struggle against Zionist occupation forces in the besieged enclave, despite the brutal war which has entered its 650th day.
Israeli media reported on Thursday morning that five soldiers were injured in Gaza battles.
The occupation military (Israeli occupation Forces – IOF) acknowledged to the injury of four soldiers, according to a statement.
It announced that soldiers with the Paratroopers Brigade’s 202nd Battalion were seriously wounded, and two officers were moderately and lightly injured during fighting in the northern Gaza Strip last night.
The four troops were injured by gunfire carried out by Hamas gunmen in Gaza City’s Shejaiya neighborhood, the IOF announced.
Meanwhile on Thursday, Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of Islamic Jihad resistance group, announced its fighters shelled the Israeli settlement of Be’eri.

Earlier, Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’ military wing, announced on Wednesday that it had targeted an Israeli command and control post in southern Gaza, as part of a joint operation with the al-Quds Brigades.
According to a statement released Wednesday, the attack was carried out using mortar shells and struck the Israeli site in the Qizan al-Najjar area, south of Khan Younis.
In a separate operation, Al-Qassam fighters shelled a gathering of Israeli soldiers and military vehicles near the al-Muhandis Hall in the al-Satra al-Gharbi area, north of Khan Younis, also using mortars.
