Hezbollah dismissed on Thursday reports attributed to sources in the Lebanese resistance party, stressing that the official position is issued exclusively by the Media Relations or officials.
In a statement, Hezbollah’s Media Relations said: “Some media outlets circulated recently, in a suspicious way, reports attributed to sources in Hezbollah. Such claims are completely false,”
“The Media Relations Department reaffirms what has long been known: Hezbollah does not have so-called sources. The group’s positions are expressed exclusively through official statements issued by its Media Relations Department or through remarks made by its officials via official and party-affiliated platforms,” the statement read.
The Media Relations Department urged media outlets to “exercise the utmost accuracy and objectivity, and to refrain from publishing or endorsing any information not formally released by the concerned parties.”
The Media Relations Department also reaffirmed readiness to provide any necessary clarifications or answers to inquiries in order to promote professionalism, credibility, and to avoid the spread of misleading narratives that could deceive public opinion.
