Jenin Mayor Mohammad Jarar confirmed the worsening humanitarian crisis in the city and its refugee camp, with thousands of residents displaced due to the ongoing military incursions and siege. Jarar stated that more than half of Jenin’s population, both in the city and the camp, are in urgent need of humanitarian aid, especially with the approaching holy month of Ramadan and the cessation of work and livelihoods caused by the Israeli operations.

The siege imposed on the Jenin camp has also made it increasingly difficult for residents to secure their basic needs, further exacerbating the humanitarian emergency. As the Israeli occupation continues its crackdown in the West Bank, the people of Jenin face growing hardship and displacement, underscoring the dire need for international intervention to address the crisis.
