Al-Manar correspondent in South Lebanon, Ali Shoeib, inspected on Friday Wadi Hujeir area, South Lebanon, after the withdrawal of the Zionist occupation forces.
The main highway which links several towns in South Lebanon was vandalized and bulldozed by the Israeli occupation forces that destroyed restaurants in the area.
‘Israel’ continued to violate the ceasefire agreement in southern Lebanon, with incursions into the areas of Qantara, Adshit al-Qusayr and Wadi al-Hujeir.
Meanwhile, the member of the Loyalty to Resistance parliamentary bloc, Dr. Hasan Fadlallah, stressed that the Israeli enemy is trying to take the advantage of the ceasefire agreement in order to destroy the Lebanese border villages and towns.
MP Fadlallah stressed that the sponsor states as well as the United Nations and the Lebanese government have to deter the Israeli enemy, adding that the supporters of the resistance in South Lebanon, Dahiyeh and Bekaa are not in need of any proof that highlights the need for its weapons and roles.
Brigadier General Mounir Shehadeh, former Lebanese government coordinator with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), has raised concerns over ongoing Israeli enemy violations since the ceasefire was declared. He warned that these actions reflect Israeli efforts to impose a new status quo on Lebanon and its resistance.
