The Yemeni Armed Forces announced the launch of a “qualitative military operation” targeting Ben Gurion Airport in the occupied Jaffa area. This attack involved the use of a hypersonic ballistic missile of the “Palestine 2” type.
Additionally, the Yemeni drone air force carried out a separate operation, successfully striking a “vital target of the Israeli enemy” in the occupied Jaffa region.
The Yemeni forces also targeted the Santa Ursula ship in the Arabian Sea east of Socotra Island, with a direct hit from multiple drones.
According to the Yemeni military statement, these operations were in response to the “Israeli aggression on civilian facilities in Sana’a and Hodeidah.” The statement warned that the attacks would continue until the “aggression on Gaza stops and the siege on it is lifted.”

The missile strike on Tel Aviv resulted in a stampede that left 18 Israelis injured as they rushed to seek shelter. This came just hours after the Yemeni forces threatened a swift response to the recent Israeli attacks, which killed 6 and injured 40 in Sana’a and Hodeidah.
The Israeli military claimed to have intercepted the missile from Yemen, but sirens still sounded across central occupied Palestine, causing the temporary halt of aircraft landings at Ben Gurion Airport before operations resumed.
The World Health Organization Director-General, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, was about to board a plane at the Yemeni airport when it was attacked, with one of the crew members sustaining injuries.
The Israeli occupation forces also reported strikes on military infrastructure in the ports of Hodeidah, Salif, and Ras Katheeb, as well as the bombing of the Haiz and Ras Katheeb power stations in Yemen.
