Iran’s acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani has spoken out against the silence of certain European countries in the face of Israeli aggression, stating that it only serves to make the regime more arrogant.
In a recent phone call with British Foreign Secretary David Lammy, Bagheri Kani discussed the recent assassination of Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, attributing the heinous act to the aggressive and terroristic actions of the Zionist regime.

Bagheri Kani criticized European countries for failing to condemn Israel’s violation of Iran’s national security and regional stability, stating that their silence wasted an opportunity for diplomacy and undermined international peace and security.
The acting FM made it clear that Iran, like any other country, will not compromise its national security, territorial integrity, or sovereignty in the face of such blatant aggression.
In response, Lammy expressed concern over the escalating tensions in West Asia, emphasizing the importance of de-escalation for the benefit of all parties involved.
The assassination of Ismail Haniyeh and one of his bodyguards in Tehran on August 31 has raised concerns over the continued aggression of the Israeli regime and the need for diplomatic efforts to address the ongoing crisis.
