The Islamic Resistance continued on Thursday striking the Zionist targets in support of Gaza and response to the Israeli aggression on South Lebanon.
In this regard, Hezbollah Media issued consecutive statements which detail the latest developments of the battle.
The first statement maintained that, in response to the “Israeli” enemy’s attack on the town of Chamaa and the martyrdom of several civilians there, the Islamic Resistance fighters launched tens of Katyusha rockets at Matzuva settlement on Thursday, August 1, 2024.

The Zionist media circulated a video which shows Hezbollah missiles hitting the settlement.
The second statement mentioned that the Air Defense Unit of the Islamic Resistance fired anti-aircraft missiles at Israeli war jets flying over South Lebanon, obliging them to retreat back to the occupied Palestinian airspace.
Hezbollah and the resistance supporters held on Thursday a massive funeral in Beirut’s Dahiyeh to mourn the senior commander Fuad Shokr assassinated Tuesday in an Israeli airstrike on a residential building in Haret Hreik.
At 15:00 (Beirut time), mourners offered condolences at Sayyed Al-Shuhada Complex on the martyr’s demise before Hezbollah secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah addressed the mourners.
Vowing an “inevitable retaliation”, Sayyed Nasrallah stressed that the war against the Zionist entity and its backers has entered a new phase as the enemies have crossed the red lines.
