The campaign period for the 14th Iranian presidential election concluded today, Thursday at 8:00 AM, ushering in a phase of electoral silence. Voting centers are scheduled to open in 24 hours.
The Iran Election Office has called on candidates, political parties, and the Iranian public to cease all promotional activities for or against any candidates. Voters are also urged not to carry any promotional materials on the day of voting. Approximately 61 million citizens are eligible to vote tomorrow, Friday, to elect a new president for Iran, succeeding Sayyed Ebrahim Raisi, who was tragically martyred in a helicopter crash on May 19th.

The electoral campaign began on June 12th and lasted for 16 days. During this period, the six candidates approved by the Guardian Council presented their electoral programs across various economic, cultural, and social issues, with a particular emphasis on foreign policy.
Conservative candidate Amir Hossein Ghazizadeh Hashemi withdrew last night, while Tehran Mayor Ali Reza Zakani withdrew this morning.

The final approved list by the Guardian Council for the presidency now includes three conservative candidates: Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, former Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili, and former Interior Minister Mostafa Mirsalim. Additionally, the sole reformist candidate is former Minister of Health Masoud Pezeshkian.
