The Israeli air force carried out raids against several targets in Gaza early Thursday.
Palestine Today reported that Israeli warplanes hit the “17 military post” in Deir al-Balah with two missiles causing fire.
The warplanes also targeted a power tower in Zaytoun neighborhood east of Gaza, Palestine Today said, adding that power went off in the area.
For its part, the occupation army confirmed the strikes, claiming it was in response to a projectile fired from the besieged strip on the so-called area of Eshkol in the occupied territories.
“In response to this attack, the air force targeted two terrorist Hamas positions in the northern Gaza Strip,” it said in a statement referring to Palestinian resistance movement.
