The Director General of the Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company announced the suspension of all air traffic in Isfahan, Shiraz, and Tehran as a precaution. Explosions were heard in Isfahan, with air defense systems activated to counter the threats.
In Tabriz, northern Iran, a series of explosions were reported as air defenses successfully intercepted incoming drones. The Iranian Space Agency spokesperson emphasized that all explosions heard were a direct result of interceptors neutralizing the aerial targets.
Iranian sources denounced claims of an Israeli attack, attributing the rumors to a misinformation campaign fueled by complicit United States media outlets. Despite the tensions, Iran’s air defenses stood strong in defending the country’s airspace.
