Member of the Loyalty to the Resistance parliamentary bloc, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Moussawi, commented on the Israeli aggression represented by the air raids on the outskirts of Shmistar, Taraya, Janta, Nabi Sheet, and Hermel in Bekaa, which left two martyrs in addition to material damage.
“The Israeli enemy forces continue to escalate their criminal aggression deep within Lebanese territory, resulting in the martyrdom of two people and injuring several others,” MP Al-Moussawi mentioned in a statement, “This constitutes a serious violation and a blatant aggression, and a continuation of the violations of the executive procedures of Resolution 1701. This holds the concerned parties and guarantors of the agreement in front of their responsibilities to take a firm action against the enemy’s violations of Lebanese sovereignty.”
“This ongoing and systematic escalation by the enemy, without any serious and responsible international action, demonstrates their disregard or inability, at best. It confirms the enemy’s lack of serious commitments and its disrespect for the international community as a whole.”
The Lebanese state, represented by the presidency, government, and army, is required to take immediate action by all available means to put an end to the Zionist entity’s criminal behavior and stop the ongoing aggression against Lebanese blood and sovereignty, MP Al-Moussawi maintained.
“The continuation of criminal aggressions against Lebanon and the Lebanese by the enemy, without the international community taking punitive measures or condemning the enemy and obliging it to respect agreements, is tantamount to encouraging it to continue its acts of aggression. This is tantamount to implicit acceptance and complicity in a policy of killing, destruction, and violation of sovereignty, which is completely condemned and contradicts the simplest principles of respecting state sovereignty and protecting its people and property.”
