Israeli warplanes conducted a series of intense airstrikes across multiple areas in the eastern Gaza Strip in the early hours of Saturday. The air raids were accompanied by artillery shelling and concentrated gunfire, particularly in and around the perimeter buffer zone referred to as the “yellow line.”
The attacks extended to several regions. Israeli aircraft unleashed a barrage of strikes on eastern Gaza City and targeted areas east of Khan Yunis. Further strikes were reported on the city of Rafah in southern Gaza and areas east of the Maghazi refugee camp in the central Strip.
Parallel to the airstrikes, Israeli forces carried out demolition operations in the Sheikh Zayed area in northern Gaza. Medical sources confirmed that one civilian was injured in northern Gaza during the ongoing military activities.
These latest operations represent a continued escalation and violation of the declared ceasefire in Gaza. Israeli forces have persisted in conducting bombardments, shootings, and home demolitions across the territory since the truce agreement began.
In yet another brutal violation of the so-called “ceasefire”, at least 20 Israeli airstrikes hit the Gaza Strip tonight.
