Under the continuous attacks of Hezbollah fighters and the heavy losses inflicted upon its units, the Israeli occupation army found itself obliged to withdraw troops from the northern settlements witnessed the Lebanese Resistance group’s operations.
The Israeli army decided to lower the number of troops stationed in northern Zionist settlements close to Lebanon border on Wednesday, according to Ynet.
In support of the Palestinian people and resistance in Gaza and in light of the Israeli aggression on the various South Lebanon villages, the Islamic Resistance continued striking the Zionist occupation sites near Lebanon border.
Hezbollah military media issued consecutive statements to illustrate the attacks and their outcomes.
The first statement mentioned that Islamic Resistance fighters targeted, at 09:35 AM on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, a gathering of “Israeli” enemy soldiers on Al-Tayhat Hill with missile weapons, inflicting a direct hit.
Islamic Resistance fighters targeted, at 02:45 PM on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, the espionage equipment at Hanita site using appropriate weapons, achieving a direct hit, according to the second statement.
The third statement indicated that Islamic Resistance fighters targeted, at 03:10 PM on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, a gathering of enemy soldiers in the vicinity of Metat barracks with missile weapons, achieving a direct hit.
Islamic Resistance fighters targeted, at 01:35 PM on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, a Merkava tank at Bayad Blida site using appropriate weapons, achieving a direct hit, the fourth statement mentioned.
The fifth statement affirmed that Islamic Resistance fighters targeted, at 3:50 PM on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, a building where enemy soldiers are positioned in Al-Mutela settlement using appropriate weapons, achieving a direct hit.
Hezbollah military media released a video which shows Islamic Resistance fighters striking the Israeli occupation’s Branit barracks with Burkan missiles.
Israeli Aggression
Meanwhile, the Israeli artillery targeted outskirts of Maroun Al-Ras, Alma Shaab, Yareen, and Al-Dhaira towns in South Lebanon, according to Al-Manar reporter.
Israeli air raids targeted the outskirts of Maroun Al-Ras, Rshaf, Al-Tiri and Hadatha towns in South Lebanon, Al-Manar reporter added.
The Israeli enemy also fired phosphorous bombs at the Lebanese southern town of Kfarkila.
