Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem indicated on Tuesday that, whenever the resistance sacrifices a leader, it moves to a new phase with a great momentum and new characters capable of providing it with new capabilities.
Addressing a ceremony held at UNESCO palace to mark the anniversary of the two martyrs General Qassem Suleimani and Hajj Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis and denounce the Israeli crime of assassinating Hamas leader Saleh Al-Arouri, Sheikh Qassem affirmed the continuation of pursuing the resistance path.
We will continue arming the resistance in order to remain powerful and prepared to confront any aggression, according to Sheikh Qassem, who added that Palestine can never be liberated without having a powerful resistance that does not fear anything.
In this regard, his eminence affirmed that the revival of the Palestinian cause in the battlefield is attributed to the support provided by the Islamic Republic led by the late leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini, Supreme Leader of Islamic Republic Imam Khamenei and former head of IRGC’s Al-Quds Force General Suleimani, which made Al-Aqsa Flood Operation possible.
Sheikh Qassem indicated that Hamas joined by the Islamic Jihad and other resistance groups carried out Al-Aqsa Flood Operation as made it impossible for the Palestinian cause to back off.
His eminence stressed that Hezbollah has been waging border attacks on the Israeli occupation sites in order to support Gaza and protect all the Lebanese from the Zionist monster, calling on the youths in the regional countries to join the efforts of the Palestinian resistance in order to let the merits of the victory expand into the whole region.
Sheikh Qassem affirmed that the international resolutions may never protect Lebanon from the Israeli aggression, reiterating that the effective choice is the resistance.
Sheikh Qassem emphasized that the Israeli threats are trivial, addressing the enemy official in a tone of challenge, “Do what you can do!”
