Resistance Strikes in Occupied Jerusalem
On the 70th day of the Israeli aggression, Al- Qassam Brigades targeted occupied Jerusalem with a rocket barrage in response to the Zionist massacres against civilians. In a statement, the martyr Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades announced the successful targeting of three Israeli Merkava tanks with missiles, resulting in the destruction of one tank and the death and injury of its crew. The statement also mentioned the seizure of equipment from dead soldiers in the city of Khan Yunis.
The brigades further reported the destruction of a house where occupation soldiers were stationed, causing multiple casualties. Al-Qassam distributed videos showing their fighters targeting Israeli vehicles and soldiers in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza City.
Abu Obeida: Accuses ‘Israel’ of Misleading killed Figures as Death Toll Rises
Abu Obeida, spokesperson for the martyr Ezz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, accused the occupation of lying about the numbers of dead and injured Israeli soldiers. He emphasized that the officially announced figures are far from the truth and stressed that the Isreali army is using mercenaries during its aggression on Gaza.
He also confirmed that the Brigades destroyed more than 100 Israeli armored vehicles in the past five days, adding that its fighters detonated pre-set explosive devices in buildings that Israeli forces used for cover during confrontations.
Abu Obeida pointed to the United States’ leading role, among the “powers of injustice and aggression,” in providing the Israeli occupation with the necessary military support, through a military airbridge.
While Al-Qassam Brigades continued their effective strikes, Al-Quds Brigades also made significant gains in the fight against the occupying forces. Brigades targeted occupation military vehicles and clashed with Zionist soldiers on various fronts.
Al-Quds Brigades successfully targeted three occupation military vehicles and eliminated two snipers holed up inside a house in eastern Gaza. They also targeted two tanks belonging to the occupation army in the Sheikh Radwan neighbourhood. The brigades utilized heavy-caliber mortars and distributed videos showcasing their operations.
IOF “Mistakenly” Kill 3 captives
The Israeli occupation army officially confirmed the death of a third soldier, bringing the overall occupation military death toll to 124, including officers and soldiers, since the start of the ground incursion.
Additionally, the occupation army acknowledged killing three Israeli captives in al-Shujaiya neighborhood after “mistakenly” identifying them as Resistance fighters from Hamas’ Al-Qassam.
Thousands of Israelis Take to Streets
Thousands of Israeli captives’ families protested on Friday evening in “Kaplan” Street, now known as the “Hostages Square” in “Tel Aviv” demanding an end to ground battles in Gaza and the establishment of an exchange deal with Hamas.
The demonstrators started their protest at the entrance to the Ministry of Security and the General Staff Headquarters in “Tel Aviv,” blocking roads following the announcement that three Israeli captives were shot and killed by IOF in the al-Shujaiya neighborhood.
On his part, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed regret for the “unbearable tragedy” and emphasized that the killings were a result of mistaken identification.
