Confrontations erupted between groups of young men and the occupation forces in response to the tragic incident. Meanwhile, a city-wide strike was declared in Qalqilya to mourn the loss of Qanbar.
In the town of Sa’ir, north of Al-Khalil (Hebron), another young man suffered a foot injury inflicted by the occupation army during clashes with resistance fighters.
The Israeli forces, in a significant show of force, stormed the town, firing live bullets and launching a widespread arrest campaign against many young men.
Reports also emerged of the occupation forces entering Ain Sultan camp in Jericho, east of the West Bank, with subsequent withdrawal.

The resistance continues to confront these attacks, while the occupation army conducts widespread arrest campaigns.
