In a significant gathering in Baghdad, the Secretary-General of the Asaib Ahl al-Haq movement, Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, welcomed a delegation from the Hamas movement on Sunday, highlighting the latest developments in Gaza.

The delegation, led by Osama Hamdan, included Muhammad al-Hafi, a member of the Office of Arab and Islamic Relations, along with their accompanying team.

The discussion primarily focused on the latest developments unfolding in the Gaza Strip. They took a closer look at the resilience and courage displayed by the resistance amidst the intense attacks by the occupying entity.

Sheikh Khazali emphasized Iraq’s steadfast commitment, as well as that of the resistance factions, to critical matters facing the Islamic world, with particular emphasis on the Palestinian cause.

Concluding the meeting, the Hamas delegation expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Sheikh Khazali for his unwavering support for oppressed and defiant populations, notably the enduring Palestinian people.
