The Lebanese army command organized on Tuesday a tour for the representatives of the UN Security Council permanent member states accredited to Lebanon along the Blue Line.
During the tour, the Army officers explained Lebanon’s reservations about 13 border positions still occupied by the Zionist enemy, stressing that the border demarcation was completed in 1923 and that Lebanon may never accept any amendments in this regard.
Shebaa Farms, KfarShuba Hills, and the Lebanese part of Al-Ghajar town are the most prominent positions which are still occupied by the Israeli enemy.
The United Nations Security Council would meet in three weeks in order to discuss the Resolution 1701 and approve the the extension of UNIFIL forces. Thus, a Lebanese delegation will attend the session and reiterate the country’s reservations.
The Israeli enemy boats violated the Lebanese territorial waters in Ras Naqoura during the Army’s tour, attended by a considerable number of Lebanese and foreign journalists.
