House Speaker Nabih Berri met at his residence in Ain El-Tineh with US Ambassador to Lebanon, Dorothy Shea, French Ambassador, Anne Grillo, Egyptian Ambassador, Dr. Yasser Alwi, Qatari Ambassador Ibrahim Abdulaziz Al-Sahlawi,, and the Counselor at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Lebanon, Fares Al-Amoudi.
The conferees discussed the latest developments of the presidential elections in light of the quintet meeting held last week in Paris and attended by US, France, Egypt, Qatar and Saudi.
The five diplomats also tackle the same file with the caretaker PM Najib Mikati at the Gran Serail.
Legislative Session
The parliament bureau committee convened on Monday in preparation for holding a legislative session and decided to continue the discussion next Monday
