Visiting the occupied Palestinian territories this week, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken showed interest in the security situation in the West Bank.
According to leaked reports, Blinken tried during his meeting with the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to impose a security plan in Nablus and Jenin.
The reports added that the US security coordinator in Tel Aviv prepared the plan, which stipulates that the PLO forces regain control of the two cities.
Walla News Website indicated that the Israeli enemy approved the plan, adding, however, that the Palestinian side voices reservations about it.
The US plan reflects the American and Zionist fear of eruption of a third Intifada in the occupied West Bank.
