House Speaker, Nabih Berri, adjourned the parliament session to discuss and approve the 2022 state budget bill till Monday, September 26.
The Parliament had approved the state budget expenditures before some of its members left the hall in order to deactivate the session.
Speaker Berri pointed out to a “lack of quorum” attempt.
Deputy House Speaker Elias Bou Saab clarified that the quorum was secured, but that Speaker Berri preferred adjourn the session in order to gain more support to the state budget law.
