Israeli occupation forces fired on Wednesday several shots at Lebanese farmers in a border town with the occupied territories, Al-Manar correspondent in south Lebanon Ali Shoaib reported.
“Out of fear, (Israeli) enemy forces fired 6 bullets over the heads of Lebanese farmers, who were cropping wheat at their land near the border fence in Sahl Al-Khiam,” our reporter said.
“The enemy forces left the area and hid at their well-fortified post, while the Lebanese farmers went ahead with their activities,” Shoaib added.
Israeli occupation forces frequently shoot at Lebanese farmers and shepherds in a bid to intimidate them. The Lebanese, for their part, always show utmost level of defiance against Israeli violations.
