Lebanese parliamentary elections kicked off on Sunday amid security measures taken by Lebanese Internal Security Forces and Lebanese Army.
Polling centers across the country 15 electoral districts opened at 7:00 a.m. (Beirut time).
3,663,518 eligible voters will elect 128 Parliament members, with 718 Lebanese candidates are running for elections.
The electoral districts are divided as follows: 2 in Beirut, 4 in Mount Lebanon, 3 in North, 3 in Bekaa and 3 in South.
The vote, which ends at 7:00 p.m. could be decisive in determining the future of the country.
Nearly 13,000 Lebanese expats voted across 60 countries earlier on May 6 and May 8.
