For the third consecutive day, Israeli occupation forces attacked Palestinian worshipers in Al-Aqsa Mosque on Tuesday and secured the entrance of Zionist settlers to the holy compound.
Israeli occupation police forced Palestinians to evacuate Al-Aqsa’s courtyards and to stay in the compound’s mosques.
Islamic Waqf in Al-Quds said more than 600 Zionist settlers, backed by IOF, stormed Al-Aqsa and performed provocative Jewish prayers in its courtyards and Al-Buraq Wall (known by Western media as Western Wall).
Videos circulated on social media showed Palestinian worshipers (women, men and children) defying the Israeli provocations in Al-Aqsa courtyards. In one of the videos a child, named Raad appeared reciting the holy Quran while the settlers broke into the compound.
Another footage showed female Palestinians chanting “Allahu Akbar” as the settlers were passing by them in Al-Aqsa courtyards.
In a new video two Palestinian young men appeared to be reciting the holy Quran with occupation police forcing one of them to leave, while failing to force the other to do so.
Elsewhere in Al-Khalil (Hebron), Zionist settlers, backed by IOF, also stormed the Ibrahimi Mosque and performed Jewish prayers there.
Tensions have been high in Al-Aqsa in the past days, with Israeli occupation forces brutally attacking Palestinian worshipers and securing the storming of Zionist setters to the holy compound on the Passover.
