Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, on Monday called on all the Lebanese, officials and leaders, to cooperate to overcome the difficult stage that Lebanon is going through, underlining that the government is making every effort to accomplish the parliamentary elections on time, in addition to pursuing negotiations with the International Monetary Fund.
Premier Mikati visited this afternoon the headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Beirut & Mount Lebanon, and held a dialogue meeting with economic bodies headed by former Minister Mohamed Choucair.
On the other hand, Premier Mikati received at the Grand Serail former Minister, MP Elias Bou Saab, who said on emerging: “We discussed the Lebanese maritime border demarcation dossier, and we also touched on the necessity of forming a ministerial crisis cell to address the daily living predicaments.”
Bou Saab also indicated that they discussed the current multiple crises facing the county.
Mikati also received at the Grand Serail Swedish Ambassador to Lebanon, Anne Desmore.
Mikati later met with Spain’s Ambassador to Lebanon, Jose Maria Ferri, who came on a farewell visit.
Among Premier Mikati’s itinerant visitors for today had been MPs Jihad Al-Samad and Sami Fatfat.
