The governor of Sarab County in East Azarbaijan Province, northwestern Iran, said on Thursday that several members of a terrorist cell were arrested in the country.
Hassan Yahyavi said in a press conference that intelligence forces of Sarab County have arrested several people associated with a terrorist cell which is affiliated to spying organizations of hostile countries.
The official didn’t give further details on the incident.
Sarab County is located 150 km north of Tabriz in East Azarbaijan Province, northwest Iran.
