Israeli occupation forces raided a town near the West Bank city of Jenin overnight on Thursday, prompting clashes with Palestinian youths who were defending their houses.
Palestinian sources reported violent clashes in Qabatia town south of Jenin, as occupation police’s so-called Yamam Force raided the home of a Palestinian wanted.
Shadi Zakarne, the Palestinian wanted managed to flee the area where occupation forces were surrounding, the sources said, adding that Israeli occupation forces raided Zakarne’s house and threatened his family.
Occupation forces also arrested two Palestinians in the town, leading to clashes with Palestinian youths, according to the sources.
Israeli media also reported heavy clashes near Jenin.
