The Lebanese ministry of public health issued on Saturday its daily report in which it announced 702 new coronavirus cases, 653 of which for locals and 49 among the arrivals, raising total to 625445.
The report added that 18566 PCR tests were conducted during the past 24 hours, adding that the number of cases of recovery from the coronavirus rose to 596068.
According to the report, 8 new coronavirus-related death cases were registered, which raised toll to 8341.
Lebanon has continued the anti-coronavirus vaccination campaign across all the provinces as the batches of vaccines are scheduled to arrive in Beirut gradually.
