The Lebanese prime minister Najib Mikati is scheduled to meet with the French President Emmanuel Macron today in Paris in the context of reactivating the French initiative and August 4 Conference held in support of Lebanon.
Member of PM Mikati’s parliamentary bloc, MP Ali Darwich, told Al-Manar Website that the Lebanese premier’s visit to Paris comes in the normal context of reactivating the French initiative and economic conferences held to help Lebanon overcome its economic crisis.
MP Darwish indicated that PM Mikati may discuss the power crisis in Lebanon with Macron, adding that the nation is in a bad need for the support of the international community.
MP Darwish pointed out that the cooperation with France will grant Lebanon an access into the European Union and the key financial centers in the world.
