Tensions were high on the border between Lebanon and the occupied territories as the Israeli enemy shelled Lebanese areas for three times on Wednesday.
Al-Manar reporter said that six 155 mm projectiles were fired by the Israeli occupation military, noting that they landed in an open area in Al-Khiam valley.
Later on Wednesday, Israeli artillery shelled areas to the north of Naqoura border town and woodlands to the south of Rachaya Al-Fakhar in Al-Arqoub, our correspondent said.
He added that the outskirts of Al-Hibbariya and Kfarshouba were also targeted by Israeli heavy artillery.
Earlier, Israeli media claimed that three rockets were fired from Lebanon and landed in Kiryat Shmona and two other settlements on the border with Lebanon.
Israeli media said that the head of Upper Galilee Regional Council ordered Israeli settlers to stay in safe places, noting that shelters were opened for settlers in Kiryat Shmona.
However, it reported then that orders by Kiryat Shmona municipality for settlers to stay in safe places were cancelled, and that Israeli televisions were back to regular programming.
According to Israeli media, the estimations in the Zionist entity on Wednesday that the escalation doesn’t serve the interest of ‘Israel’.
