House Speaker, Nabih Berri, stressed on Thursday that the parliament is ready to lift the immunity of everyone, including the judges, in Beirut blast case.

Speaker Berri emphasized that the parliament’s priority is to cooperate with the judiciary in order to know the truth behind the explosion, adding that teh accusations must target those who are trying to take advantage of the blood for purposes that have become exposed.

Speaker Berri underlined the importance of unveiling the culprits involved in the blast, warning against concealing the truth.

On August 4, 2020, a massive blast rocked Beirut Port blast, killing around 195 citizens and injuring over 6000 of others. The explosion also caused much destruction in the capital and its suburbs.
