The fierce clashes between the Palestinian locals in Al-Quds (Jerusalem) and the Israeli soldiers and settlers expanded on Saturday as the Palestinians uprose against ongoing Zionist provocations and assaults.
Dozens of Palestinians, who threw stones and Molotov cocktails at the enemy soldiers, were injured or suffocated by the Israeli rubber bullets and gas bombs in the vicinity of the Damascus Gate, according to the media reports, which added that the occupation forces arrested a number of Palestinian youths.
The Zionist occupation forces had closed the Damascus Gate and prevented the Palestinian worshipers from performing their prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Israeli reports mentioned that the enemy’s security forces could have lost their control over the situation in Al-Quds as the clashes expanded.
On the other hand, the Israeli occupation army claimed that dozens of missiles were fired from Gaza at the Zionist settlements in the Strip’s vicinity. Media reports noted that the enemy’s tanks fired shells at one of the Palestinian resistance posts in eastern Gaza.
