Palestinian factions in Gaza signed on Saturday a code of conduct vowing to confront all forms of normalization of ties with the Zionist entity in the field of media.
Representatives of several Palestinian factions, along with Palestinian media outlets gathered in Gaza city to express firm stance against media normalization with the Israeli enemy.
The code of conduct stipulates that all members of Palestinian factions won’t appear on Israeli media outlets or any platform that represents the Zionist entity.
According to the code of conduct, Palestinian media outlets also won’t conduct interviews or any kind of media cooperation with Israeli figures.
Member of Islamic Jihad’s politburo Khaled Al-Batish stressed importance of adopting unified national rhetoric in a bid to confront all kinds of normalizations of ties with the Israeli enemy and to confirm that Palestine is the central cause of the Muslim and Arab Ummah (nation).
Attendees of the meeting warned that several Israeli figures appeared on Arab media outlets recently in a flagrant move that represents the stance of some Arab regimes regarding normalizing ties with the Zionist entity.
