Al-Qard Al-Hasan Association issued on Wednesday a statement in which it stressed that the cyber attack which had targeted its electronic system did not hit its main network, adding that the exposed lists of allegedly “names of depositors” were fake and included mainly borrowers.

The statement added that the financial data related to the association are regularly announced by its administration, denying the veracity of the circulated reports in this regard.

According to the statement, Al-Qard Al-Hasan Association as the rest of Hezbollah social institutions operate in favor of all the Lebanese who are in need of loans to fund their various life projects and do not discriminate among them.

Al-Qard Al-Hasan Association reassured the depositors that it will pursue its goals despite all the challenges posed by the Israeli assaults, US sanctions, and cyber attacks.

Highlighting the political campaign against it, Al-Qard Al-Hasan Association thanked all the Lebanese who voiced solidarity with it against the propaganda which has been targeting its activities.
