Head of Hezbollah’s Loyalty to Resistance parliamentary bloc MP Mohammad Raad voiced the bloc support to conduct comprehensive forensic audit for all the state institutions.
At a parliamentary session at UNESCO Palace in Beirut, MP Raad said the country is ‘devastated’ after facing successive crises.
“The issue of forensic audit is related to the state’s reputation and its interest,” he was quoted as saying by Lebanese media.
In this context he called to give attention to this issue and deal with it responsibly.
“The Parliament is discussing an affair with great concern. It is related to the public funds whose destiny has been unknown.”
The Lebanese lawmaker called on the outgoing government to put into effects measures in a bid to conduct the forensic audit for all state institutions.
In this context MP Raad suggested to exceptionally lift the banking secrecy since this measure facilitates the forensic audit.
