For second day in a week, Lebanon records zero domestic novel coronavirus cases, Ministry of Public Health reported on Monday.
In its daily report, the ministry said that 3 new coronavirus infections were registered in the last 24 hours, noting that all are imported cases that belong to Lebanese expatriates who returned home recently as part of the government’s operation to repatriate Lebanese who have been stranded in corona-hit countries.
The total number of cases nationwide reached 740, the report said, noting that 1148 PCR tests have been conducted in the last 24 hours.
On the other hand, the number of recovery cases reached 205, according to the report, which also kept the toll of deaths related to the COVID-19 contagious disease at 25.
Lebanon registered, earlier on Thursday, zero domestic coronavirus cases and four other imported cases belonging to expatriates returning to Lebanon.
Meanwhile on Monday, the second stage of a five-phase lockdown exit plan approved by the Lebanese government also has started.
