Lebanese Health Ministry announced on Sunday that only one coronavirus case was detected in the last 24 hours, taking the number of infections nationwide to 673.
In its daily report, the ministry said that since February 21, the number of novel coronavirus cases in Lebanon reached 673, with one case tested positive to the contagious disease, named COVID-19.
It noted that 704 PCR tests were conducted in Beirut’s Rafiq Hariri University Hospital and many other certified laboratories across the country.
Meanwhile, the ministry added that no coronavirus-related deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, noting that the death toll now stands at 21.
On the other hand, Interior Minister, Mohamed Fahmy, issued a circular on Sunday, announcing the amendment of the curfew in Lebanon.
According to the circular, the curfew will start from eight o’clock in the evening instead of seven, as a measure taken by the Ministry of Interior to combat the spread of the coronavirus.
Fahmy also adjusted the timing of opening and closing of institutions excluded from general mobilization, National News Agency (NNA), reported.
