The Ministry of Public Health announced in its daily report on Saturday that 672 cases of coronavirus infections have thus far been detected, with 4 new cases reported this Saturday, April 18, 2020.

In its daily report, the ministry said out of 1,040 PCR tests conducted in the last 24 hours, 4 people tested positive for COVID-19 disease, without registering any case of death.

Later on, Rafic Hariri University Hospital said no new coronavirus cases were recorded, reports 5 cases of recovery and bringing their total to 99.

Since February 21, 672 people have been infected with the contagious disease, the ministry said, noting that PCR tests were conducted at 19 laboratories across Lebanon, including Beirut’s Rafic Hariri University Hospital.
