Syrian Army responded on Tuesday to terrorist group’s breaches of the de-escalation zone agreement, targeting their dens and gatherings in several areas in northern Hama.
SANA official news agency reported that Syrian Army units carried out intensive operations at dawn on Tuesday against Nusra Front terrorists and other affiliated groups in the outskirts of Mourek , az-Zakat and al-Arba’in in northern Hama.
“The operations resulted in the killing and injury of many terrorists, some of them of foreign nationalities who infiltrated into Syrian territory across the Turkish border,” the agency added.
Caches and quantities of weapons and ammunition for terrorists were also destroyed during the operations.
Earlier on Monday, the Russian Defense Ministry said that the Syrian Army foiled massive assault by Nusra terrorists in northern Hama countryside, killing or injuring 100 militants.
