The Lebanese Cabinet approved Thursday the appointments at the Military Council, in an ordinary session chaired by President Aoun at Baabda palace.

General Amine Aram has been appointed Chief of Staff, while General Milad Ishac was named as Inspector General and General Elias Shamieh as member. For his part, General Mahmoud Asmar has been appointed Secretary General of the Higher Defense Council.
